Masters of genetics, medicine and biotechnology, the Feldrinians are among the oldest and most scientifically advanced civilizations in the galaxy. Revered for their innovations yet surrounded by centuries of unsettling rumours, they remain one of the Grand Galactic Senate’s most mysterious races.

Unlike many of the galaxy’s great powers, the Feldrinians have never sought to build vast military empires or dominate through force. Instead, they have spent millennia pursuing scientific perfection. To the Feldrinian mind, every disease can be cured, every weakness improved, and every living organism better understood. Their laboratories have produced breakthroughs that transformed galactic civilisation, from advanced prosthetics and artificial organs to genetic therapies capable of curing conditions once thought impossible.

Today, Feldrinian medical technology is considered the finest in known space. Hospitals across Senate territory rely upon Feldrinian research, while wealthy citizens travel across entire sectors seeking cosmetic enhancement, age-reversal treatments, genetic correction, or replacement organs. Among Humans in particular, Feldrinian genetic enhancement is often joked about as being “better than plastic surgery”—although few can actually afford it.

Although rarely seen on the battlefield themselves, the Feldrinians support almost every major Game behind the scenes. Their medical teams treat injured pilots and competitors. Their laboratories provide advanced prosthetics and regenerative therapies that return athletes to competition in record time. Their biotechnology divisions create the monsters, wildlife, and engineered creatures that populate many Arena environments. Even races that distrust Feldrinian science often depend upon it.

Nearly every civilisation possesses ancient stories of mysterious grey figures watching from the shadows, conducting strange examinations, or vanishing without explanation. Some believe these tales are merely myths born from fear of an ancient and highly advanced civilisation. Others insist they are evidence that the Feldrinians secretly observed—and perhaps even experimented upon—developing species long before the formation of the Grand Galactic Senate.

The Feldrinians have never publicly addressed these stories.
